Katy Tanis is a graduate from Furman University in Greenville, SC, and received her BA in Philosophy with a minor in Medicine, Health, and Culture. Her academic interests are at the intersection of clinical medical ethics and the law, particularly in the realms of aging, death, and dying. At Penn, she hopes to study health care accessibility and policy incentives for high-value clinical care. Katy is a Research Coordinator for Dr. Aaron Schwartz.
