Congratulations to Ed Bergman, JD, an adjunct faculty member in the Division of Medical Ethics, and to Ezekiel Emanuel, MD, PhD, Chair of the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy. Dr. Emanuel and Mr. Bergman were honored as recipients of the 2019 Wharton Teaching Excellence Award, which recognizes the enormous contribution of teaching to Wharton’s mission as well as the hard work and commitment that is required of classroom instructors. These awards are given to faculty members who deliver outstanding performance in teaching, based on student evaluations.
