MSNBC Presents “A Special Edition of the Last Word: Life In The Time of Coronavirus”

Amid the global coronavirus pandemic, MSNBC will present “A Special Edition of The Last Word: Life in the Time of Coronavirus” co-hosted by Lawrence O’Donnell, host of “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell,” and Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, professor of health care management at the University of Pennsylvania, former health policy advisor to President Barack Obama and NBC News and MSNBC Medical Contributor. The four-part, hour-long series will air Mondays at 10pm ET beginning March 30 through April 20.

The special will examine the public health crisis from a variety of perspectives, including the governmental response, the strain on hospitals, the latest research into treatments and how the disease works, and the heroes—nurses, doctors and medical personnel—who are fighting COVID-19 on the front lines. The nation’s leading experts will share analysis and recommendations for the government and the public to fight coronavirus and prevent future infectious disease outbreaks.
