Melissa Berkowitz, MPP, MSc, is a Project Manager with the Accelerate Health Equity group. Melissa manages a portfolio of health equity projects in partnership with Independence Blue Cross, and health care institutions across the city, including projects focused on access to specialty care, maternal health, and cardiovascular health. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership from Penn, a Master of Public Policy with a Policy Analysis Specialization from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, Germany, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from New York University. Melissa is also currently pursuing a Master of Law with a concentration in health care law at Penn.
