Ellen Moscoe is a behavioral economist whose work applies insights from psychology and economics to change health behaviors. Her recent work has leveraged behavioral science to improve the design of financial incentives and communication campaigns aimed at changing habits; explored the role of risk preferences, information, and financial incentives on sexual behavior in high HIV prevalence settings; and evaluated the causal drivers of population mental health. Prior to joining eMBeD, Ellen completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania. Ellen holds a doctorate from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a M.A. in Economics from McGill University and a B.Sc. in Economics from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
