In addition, he published a review and call to action to advocate for research and training in medical ethics. Dr. Buckey has been interviewed by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology on the role of medical ethics in allergy and immunology. Dr. Buckey aims to provide a unique perspective to the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy.

Dr. Buckey has a great interest in medical education and mentors students, researchers and clinicians in all stages of their training. As a faculty member in the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy, he will be instructing a course titled “Bioethics and Vulnerable Populations.” As an alumnus of the Master of Bioethics program, he is honored to join the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy.
