She will discuss the strengths of this intervention approach, as well as related challenges, lessons learned, and next steps. Bio: Ana Martinez-Donate is a professor of Community Health and Prevention in the Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University. She is also the lead faculty of the Migration, Ethnicity, Race and Health Working Group (MERHG). Her research has focused primarily on HIV prevention and access to health services among Latino populations in the U.S. and the U.S.-Mexico border region. She applies a social ecological framework to the analysis of behavioral and social determinants of population health and the development and evaluation of community-based health promotion interventions. Martinez-Donate’s research has been continuously funded by the National Institutes of Health since 2007.
