The Message Effects Lab at the University of Pennsylvania is a new initiative funded by the Annenberg School and Penn Medicine. We aim to support your research by providing various resources, including text for grant proposals describing validated causal models of behavior, and the corresponding “gold standard” methods. When the goal is to promote behavior change among patients or providers, we can help you determine which type of intervention is needed for a specific population and identify the type of messages that are most promising. Dr. Fishman will share an overview of the resources offered and recent examples of successful behavior change interventions.
