Emily Largent Selected as Greenwall Faculty Scholar

Congratulations to Emily Largent, JD, PhD, RN, who has been selected as a Greenwall Faculty Scholar, Class of 2023.

"I am excited to begin working on my project, 'Autonomy on the Precipice of Cognitive Decline,' which will look at how Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers are changing patients’ and families’ experiences of Alzheimer’s disease," Dr. Largent said. "I’m so appreciative of all the support that I have received from friends, colleagues, and mentors in the Department and across Penn."

According to the Greenwall Foundation website, this is a career development award to enable junior faculty members to carry out innovative bioethics research. Each year, the Foundation selects approximately three Greenwall Faculty Scholars.

Dr. Largent joins a number of Penn faculty who are scholars in or alumni of the program, including Holly Fernandez Lynch, Scott Halpern, Jennifer Prah Ruger, Peter Reese, Jason Karlawish, and Steven Joffe.
