Laura Schmucker has a Master in Public Health degree focusing on global health from The George Washington University and has worked for a number of organizations in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean. Most recently she worked in Uganda for five years with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) where she managed various research studies focusing on global health and technology, health system strengthening, maternal and newborn care and economic inclusion within refugee populations.
