Aditi Vasan, MD, MSHP (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania and a pediatric hospitalist at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Her research is centered on improving the health and social service systems serving children and families living in poverty. Her current work focuses on reducing administrative burdens to improve families’ access to economic support programs, including WIC, SNAP, and Medicaid, as well as on implementing and evaluating health system-based interventions that address social drivers of health. Dr. Vasan received her MD at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and her Master of Science in Health Policy Research (MSHP) at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed residency training in pediatrics at CHOP and fellowship training in the National Clinician Scholars Program at Penn.
