At the same time, clinical prediction models, which are really informational devices, also risk reinforcing inequities in care and diffusing responsibility for incorrect or inequitable predictions. The current federal regulatory environment is a first step towards ensuring efficacy, safety, and equity, but is only applicable to a small number of such models that are likely to be deployed in the coming years. Registration required. Meeting link will be provided automatically upon sign-up.
