Dr. Kayser is a Pulmonologist and Medical Intensivist. He is the Section Chief of Medical Critical Care at the Cpl. Michael J. Cresencz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia where he also serves as Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit and leads medical emergency response team programming. Dr. Kayser received his medical degree and master of public health at Tulane University and his master of bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kayser is board certified in Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Kayser leads medical ethics education and curriculum for undergraduate medical students at the Penn Perelman School of Medicine. His clinical, educational and research interests include end-of-life care, communication, conflict management, and medical ethics.
